Renovation of The Historic Coliseum

The Historical Coliseum project on Lake Street in Minneapolis was a transformative renovation aimed at fostering generational wealth and opportunity for BIPOC small business owners. This 85,000 square-foot historic building sustained significant damage during the social upheaval in 2020. The building was revitalized to provide 25 affordable rental spaces for businesses. This redevelopment included a restaurant affiliated with Du Nord, the reopening of a hair salon, a barber shop, and an event center, continuing the building’s legacy of community support. Our team was honored to contribute to this community-focused project and to collaborate with passionate stakeholders to create a lasting impact on the Lake Street corridor.
