Phased Renovation for Historic Edina Church

Watson-Forsberg recently completed two phases of renovation at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Edina, enhancing the long-term functionality and vitality of this 26,900-square-foot facility. Spanning completion in October of 2019 and August of 2023, the phased work focused on updating commons areas, kitchen and serving spaces, and administrative offices, along with critical structural repairs to the sanctuary’s roof trusses to preserve the building’s integrity.

St. Stephen’s serves as a longstanding spiritual and community anchor in Edina, and these improvements reflect the church’s ongoing commitment to serving its congregation and adapting its space to meet evolving needs.

Watson-Forsberg’s relationship with St. Stephen’s dates back to the 1950s; we’re honored to continue supporting their mission through thoughtful construction solutions. Additional phases of renovation are under consideration as the church continues planning for the future.
