Cookie Cart to open on St. Paul’s East Side in late April

We are grateful for each project we work on and have a strong appreciation for those who give back to the community. Sister Jean Thuerauf started something in 1988 that has been changing lives ever since. She started by inviting North Minneapolis neighborhood kids into her home to help with schoolwork and bake cookies to opening a small bakery to help students on job training skills. Today, there are two Cookie Cart locations (one of which will be opening in late April) which serve youth by teaching them baking, sales, financial literacy and more.
